Part Time Adult Social Care Lawyer (24 hours per week)

Short term contract

Rate: Negotiable, umbrella, indicate rate sought

Looking for an experienced ASC Lawyer for just over a month (Monday 24th August - Tuesday 30th September 2025) to provider holiday cover on a temporary basis.

Working days can be flexible although would ask for cover on a Friday if possible.

If this is something that resonates with you you will, amongst other things, be assisting with cases/queries in the following areas:

• Adult Social Care legislation queries and matters
• Court of Protection cases
• Re X applications
• s21A cases
• Capacity cases (e.g. to have sexual relations)
• Mental Health cases
• Displacement of nearest relative,
• Means assessment and deprivation of capital matters
• Direct payments queries
• Ordinary residence disputes
• Judicial reviews and LGSCO matters on behalf of GCC
