Locum Contracts & Procurement Solicitor – North West Council – Hybrid – Competitive Rate
A local authority in the North West is looking to bring in a Contracts & Procurement Solicitor on a locum basis to support their legal services team. This is an initial 3-month assignment with the potential to extend.

The Role:
You will assist the in-house legal team with a varied commercial workload, including:
Advising on and drafting a broad range of contracts
Supporting procurement processes and compliance
Liaising with service departments across the council
Handling work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements:
Qualified solicitor or legal executive
Previous local authority experience preferred
Solid background in commercial contracts and public procurement
Able to attend the office on a hybrid basis when required
