Locum Planning Lawyer

Home Counties

Rate: £55 - 60 per hour (Interim/Umbrella)

Working: Remote

A highly reputable Local Authority in the Home Counties is seeking a Planning Lawyer to join the team on a locum basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and growing team on a full-time basis. It is a remote working position, besides committee meeting attendance every now and again (perhaps once every 2 months).

The Planning Lawyer role:

Key duties of the Planning Lawyer will include:

  • To provide legal advice and support to the Council on complex Planning Law
  • To handle own caseload of planning matters of mainly section 106 matters

About You

The organisation is looking to hire a Planning Lawyer who demonstrates:

  • Expert knowledge, specialism and experience in the field of Planning Law is essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously on their own matters
